What is the phrase that sticks in your mind,
the one that you pull out the moment you have a smoking crave,
the one that instantly reminds you of what your quit is all about,
the one that makes you smile and gives you that warm feeling that your quit is secure ?
I have many memorable phrases from the annals of Freedom
but the one that without doubt helped me most in the early months
was John's famous
"MEET IT, GREET IT, DEFEAT IT"
which for me summed up the whole ethos of cold turkey quitting
and was my shield against the worst that craves could throw at me !
