Who would have thought it? Me, nicotine free for 5 years! Actually 5 years and 2 days. I can't believe my quit date slipped by me. It just goes to show you that life goes on with out nicotine. I don't even think about a smoke any more and haven't for years. Yes, like any one else, I get stressed from time to time. In the past those were times when I would have smoked. Of course I don't like feeling that way and certainly I would love to be able to change those feelings instantly. Thanks to whyquit and FFN I am fully aware that putting nicotine into my system wouldn't change anything other than to take me back to being a smoker again. I love my nicotine life too much to even consider that option. I am fully aware that one equals all. I had a 2 year quit going once and smoked on a particularly stressful day. It led me back to full fledged addiction and took me over 20 years to quit again. Nope, not worth the risk.
It's NTAP for me!
