Well here we go. I am 4.5 days into quitting and finally starting to feel human again.
The first few days were really tough. Day 2 seemed the worst, I was dizzy, tired, extremely irritable and thought I was losing my mind.
After that it seemed to get a little easier, but definately not putting my guard down yet.
I have been smoking for about 21 years and have tried quiting many times, all with nicotine replacement methods.
Needless to say they didnt work.
I came across this website and became very interested in the theory behind nicotine addiction, and how quitting cold turkey is the only way to truly quit.
I think I have read every article on the site, and it's given me a clear picture of the path to freedom from nicotine, and how to handle the bumps along the way.
Thanks so much for this wonderful site, I know my goal will be achieved if I Never Take Another Puff.
