I'm now in Day 21 Nicotine free. I had to give up nicotine one last time, for ever.
I've had all the nasty bits reported by others and Joel.
I'm sure it will be nice:
when my brain chemistry finally settles down
when I stop thinking what shall I do after a meal or cup of tea
when the days don't seem interminably long.
I'm 64 years old. I had smoked for most of the last 45 years. I have no idea what life without addiction can or will be like and I'm more than a bit frightened .
I have great support from my wife, family and friends (pity about the NHS and GP) but my daily companion educator and encourager has been 'Freedom' and Why Quit.com.
Thank you, all of you.
