I've been away from the site for a long time - I still find the yuku site very hard to navigate and much preferred whatever it was when I joined back in 2006. But out of curiosity I wanted to see what was going on. E-cigarettes seem to have hit the market hard - people still don't seem to get that addiction to anything is still an addiction - I am so grateful I found whyquit and the support that was there for me. When I see the ads saying "you can't do it alone" - well, they are right but they are pushing aids like patches and gum and e-cigs instead of the support and love that came to me from this site. I will be celebrating 8 years on January 2. I'll come back then. and now that I've re-found my password maybe I can come back and support newbies like I was supported.
Happy New Year everybody....the happiest new years are the nicotine free ones.

You are so close to a year...be proud. Have you seen O'bob's post 3 years v 3 days or maybe its' 3 day s v 3 years.. where he talks about how there's really no difference? once you know you've quit you just know you've quit...and the only difference between you and me is that I quit before you....we are both smoke free. Happy New Year ....and many many more.
