Hey Suze!
What nice thoughts you have 'penned'. And I am so happy to congratule you on your 27 months of freedom! Yes, reflecting on time well spent in victory and healing is always an encouraging exercise on this journey. Our Christmas day is just beginning; the kiddies are grown, and the two that are here are yet sleeping. It is snowing AGAIN and piling up like cotton clouds, and tho' it looks absolutely surreal outside, I have NO panic of being snowed in with a depeleting nicotine supply because I don't smoke anymore!!! This calmness is truly a miracle of quitting. To all wannabee quitters, this peace can be yours. And believe me, quitting NOW is the best Christmas present you can give yourself. It just may ensure that you are alive to celebrate again next year, or prevent a chronic condition that will last for the rest of your life. Quit thinking about quitting and DO IT! To all those who blazed the trail before me, kudos, Christmas wishes and appreciation to all of you. And to my close-to-my-heart quit travellers (you all know who you are), quitting nicotine with your inspiring companionship was actually a pleasure! Thank you Joel, John, Joanne, managers and those involved behind the scenes of WhyQuit and FreedomFromTobacco in enabling the message of truth about quitting to get out to the world- in the little spaces and in cyber space.
