I did another group last night at a neighboring cities health department. We only had five people show up. Keep in mind these are totally free programs being offered to over 70,000 residences. I don't personally handle the publicity in these programs, I jsut show up at the location at the prearranged time. In all truth, most eligible people never even see it is available and I was not surprised by the turnout, it was bigger than the one I did at the same place last month.
Anyway, while there are not many people I try to focus those who do come as hard as I can to the importance of quitting and I am steering them to

and Freedom so I am bringing up posts that I think will aid these new quitters. By the way, both groups the last couple of days while being small, had people who I would say were real committed quitters. Not all of them but most of them.
As always, I think we have lots of lurkers here who do not participate. But we want them to have all the materials and understanding that they can have at their disposal. To us it is not of utmost importance that all people join or post--but it is of life saving importance that all people quit. We want all people, members of non-member to be fully aware that to stay smoke free they must never take another puff!
