Happy New Years Jelly!
70 days done?
Sounds like doing prison time
Instead of "
done
," what about painting a positive image of a 70 day "
start
" to your wonderful new life! I know, I know! You're at that point where you're growing a bit impatient as you yearn for total and complete comfort. For me, my first days of 100% total and complete comfort, where I never once even "thought" about smoking a cigarette, started at about day 60.
If you haven't had your first day of
total comfort
yet, I promise you that it will happen here very very soon. For over a year now I've been promising every quitter that they will see their first day of
compete relaxation
by day 90, and to date I've yet to be proven wrong! I guess some of us just get luckier than others but I'm not sure that attitude doesn't play a big part in our psychological healing as well.
Once that first anxiety free day arrives, they become more and more frequent until they become the norm. Sure, there will be days where the "thought" of smoking will enter your mind, but like any other "thought" you'll have total control over when it departs and it will never hurt. It won't be long now Jelly! Complete Glory is just around the corner : ))) Please read your list of reasons for quitting today! We need to pump you up as the finish line is just around the corner
Breathe deep, hug hard, live long, Zep : )
