Hi Vivienne, and Welcome to Freedom!
You are doing great.... and one finger typing is just a step on the way to becoming four fingered.. six fingered, even a ten fingered typist....
Learning any new skill there is a "learning curve". It feels awkward at first, and then becomes more familiar, and then ultimately you are able to do it without thinking much about it.
Remember learning to drive??? Remember the fear, the sweaty palms, the panic of not knowing where to put your feet and hands and where to look???? You don't feel that way now about driving, right?
And the process of quitting smoking is the same. With education you learn why we addicts can never take another puff. With practice you learn to counter that nasty little inside voice, our "inner addict", who will throw tantrums occasionally... With time you become a comptetent ex-smoker, and become sure of yourself in your new nicotine free life.
With time and practice and education you learned to drive....
With time, and practice you will learn the computer....
With time and practice and education you will achieve comfort as an ex-smoker. You are already on your way! Continue to read, read, read!
