imageOutstanding post John. Congratulations on deciding to take charge of your addiction. We have that one key choice - to use constantly or not at all. That choice of none / no more is our source of power and personal pride. Being smart enough to recognize that we are not stronger than the nicotine molecule so that we succeed by eliminating its presence in our blood and brain. We regain control of our chemical circuitry by living as we were always menat to be - nicotine free. image
I've posted a graphic that was created by John Polito (the founder of this forum and whyquit.com) that proved to be the inspiration for my initial quit.image Seeing that junkie guy was my 'light bulb' moment! My thought was that if the circuit were disconnected once and for all and no new nicotine were introduced then I would regain control of my life. It worked. I've been physically and mentally restored. Read all of Joel's Library . Watch the videos. Read as much as time allows. I can tell you are in it to win it. You can and will as long as you NTAP.
