Like you, I'm just learning how to cope with each minute and day without nicotine. It genuinely does get easier. I'm just finishing my fourth week free and I have noticed a big difference in the number of craves I've been getting. They really began to improve for me about half way through the third week. So hang in there.
I know I am disgracefully vain, but my first "Quit Reason" was..........My Skin!!!! Not cancer or heart disease but my skin. At first I began to get spots like a teenager (I'm way past that age) but now they have cleared and my skin looks so much clearer and brighter. Giving up nicotine is the best facial out there and you will probably be able to spend the money you saved on something else.
So stick with it, drink loads of water and watch nature do its wonderful work of healing, inside and out.
