Well time to update my diary, 8 months free of nicotine has arrived.
My brain says, "No way, me, a 40+user????.....Yeap its true.......Way!!!
I'd just like to pass on to you the lurker or if just starting out; T
hat stopping the use of nicotine was not as I had imagined. It was not horrible or painful to do.... I didn't get the shakes, didn't drool or faint from withdrawal.
IT DIDN'T HURT
, yes uncomfortable at times, but I experienced
no awful pains
!!!
Ever deliver a baby without drugs, break any bones, have a root canal, maybe sprain your back, ankle or arm, maybe have a tooth pulled, now that is real pain brothers & sisters!!! I just kept going day after day believing John, Joel's and other members words of knowledge.
My journey has been a life altering experience......called HEALING and READJUSTMENT...and I know I must always remember:
The Law of Addiction
The administration of a drug to an addict will cause reestablishment of dependence upon the addictive substance a the old level of use or greater......
Hey just to shorten it:
Never Take Another Puff!!
It is a wonderful life free from my nicotine addiction.
