Well it has been awhile since I have visited the site. Stopped in today and, as always, got quite inspired hearing about people's struggles and victories. I don't come here as much because I have been moving beyond frequent thoughts of smoking - but that's not to say I've been becoming complacent. I still usually remember to give thanks almost every day that I no longer smoke. I usually find many particular things over the course of a week that I can remark upon as being so much better since quitting nicotine.
Both my husband and I are so very happy with this new phase of our lives. He quit the day after I did.
This site is a wonderful gift - I have told others about it and have encouraged them to come on and at least read as a start to their own goals of quitting. I hope they do.
All the best to all of you in all of your quits. I am coming up on 4 months on October 27th and am just so proud I really did it.
Pat
(Nadine, if you are out there, good going!)
