Hi Pat,

Congratulations on your recent quit. Coupled with your positive attitude and commitment to NTAP, I have no doubt that you will stay NIC free. My husband and I quit at the same time too and we made an agreement from get-go that we were doing this for ourselves and not for each other. It was very important to me that I quit for myself and I couldn't blame on anyone if I relapsed. Same goes for my husband. We also shook hands on how we would never say to one another, "Don't you want one?" No taunting what so ever. This approach worked for us and it is still working for us.

Having said that... the benefit of both us quitting was tremendous from the beginning. People around us were commenting how we were so much more loving towards each other... unexpected benefit!

Be proud! I know I am because I know what it takes...
