Josh,
Welcome to Freedom. I know what you mean with the emotions you're feeling. I think that the "lonely" feeling is very common and what draws so many of us here to post at this site. We can have a lot of loving, caring and supportive people around us but this journey that we've started can't really be shared with people that have never smoked or even those who once smoked and may have forgotten what the early stages of a quit were like. Well here at Freedom you'll find wonderful supportive addicts just like yourself in every stage of their own quits. Patricia was right "read as much as you can at Freedom...". It's what I did and it helped immeasurably. It gets better and faster than you think.
YQB,
Pat
