Thankyou everyone for your support this group is fantastic and my congrats to everyone on your quits. The last few days i have hardly thought about smoking which is fantastic. I know i am not out of the woods yet and there will be more craves etc but i am ready for them, i just let them pass which only takes about 3 minutes. Drinking lots of iced water has helped me with the craves and also if they get really intense i do something like clean my teeth........anything to keep busy until the crave passes. Now when i get a thought about smoking i just think to myself Thank goodness i don't smoke and the thought of smoking quickly vanishes.
All in all i feel i am doing really well and each night before i go to bed i give myself a pat on the back and every morning i begin the day by saying to myself...........Thank goodness i DONT smoke. I am soooo proud of what i have achieved so far in this quit. Last night i even had a dream that i was getting an interview for a job and the interviewer asked if i smoked and i said no i don't smoke. So even in my dreams my mind is realising i am a non smoker which is great. On my way to Double Green
