I first read this a couple of days ago, and it really helped: Having smoked for 16 years (=all through my teens and twenties) I felt that cigs were a constant in my life; a companion. But they really were just a drug source and it's better to realize that sooner rather than later or than not at all! Besides friendships should never involve money and cigs are very expensive!!!

But still; it is that "relationship" I seem to miss when I do have cravings (they have been surrisingly few!) but now I know how to deal with that better: Print this out and post at home and at work as a reminder why this particular "friendship" had to end!!!
