Hello Angela,
I am sorry to hear that you are having such a tough day there. I can fully understand and remember being there myself many moons ago. Quitting smoking was by far one of the toughest things that I personally have done. When I first quit ... my day was on day 10. It sounds to me
like you have a good strong hold on your quit and are determined to make it. Being that as it is I am very confident that you will get thru today, tomarrow, the next day, and so forth. For today though ... just take it one hour/minute/second atta time ... what ever works best for you. You are doing great and I am very proud of you for keeping your resolve.
Here is a few articles that might help .....
Attitude - using it to reduce anxiety
Bad days
Fixating on a cigarette
Monster under the bed
I found these all to be very helpful to me early on ... now as far as the 6 lbs goes.... you can fluctuate weight on an average of up to 5lbs per day!!!!! Don't let the couple of pounds bother you right now ..... just focus on maintaining your quit right now. The cigarettes will kill you much sooner than those 6 pounds.
Hug that quit tight my friend & embrace those craves for once they are defeated, they will continue to loose their strength while you will grow stronger!!!!!!
