Hi Angela,
2 weeks, this means not only nicotine but also all other toxics have left your body.
Congratulations.
For now you will gain some weight. That's completely normal. It's food for the addict inside you who tells you you are gaining weight and you feel depressed about it and you want to go back smoking. You probably will gain some more the next 2 weeks but after that you will see that you will feel a lot better.
Your healing is going on steady. You will feel more energetic. You will do thinks faster. You will walk faster and enjoy life more. You will lose weight.
If you have time for it go for a walk or climb up the stairs a couple of times and think how much that better goes now you have quit.
" This is a process, we will get through this. " is something what is true for you but not for my stephfather. He didn't get through lungcancer.
Take it step by step; day by day. It will get better.
