Angela-
I think I wrote the EXACT post at this stage in my quit (just turned bronze yesterday). For us gals the SCALE is the enemy-- bloated, depressed, anxiety, etc. You are doing and thinking the right things-- and I am so impressed with your strength and conviction-- i.e. "smoking won't help it will only make things worse." TWO WEEKS!!!! What an accomplishment-- relish that and the fact that your skin and breathing and lungs are rejoicing.
Forget the scale, forget the "alleged" bloat-- take the money you saved from not smoking and get a massage, buy a little trinket, and best yet-- go for a run! even if you have to walk partway-- you can go stronger and faster. Anything to get out of your head. TWO WEEKS -- go girl, the scale will balance out, your mood will too-- and your lungs and health are grateful. Get out of your head--- tomorrow will be so much better. trust me, smokes were my best friends, and while its not perfect on this side--- its much less than perfect on the smoker's side.
Go you.
