Paddy, I read your post and tried to remember what it felt like at day 19-20. If I recall correctly it was a matter of the habit and the "triggers" that were a pain. The physical thing was over but boy oh boy those triggers were awful. THE trick that helped me the most was the 3 minute rule. When I felt the urge, I looked at a clock and told myself that if it wasn't over in 3 minutes or so, I might look for relief. The great thing was that only 1 time did that crave last longer than the 3 minute rule. Just amazing. And that one time it was longer was I think due to my anxiety sooo.... Anyway, do not stop now! Think how cool it will be to not be a smoker and keep reading here. I about read myself silly the first month or two.
