And now, because I believe that I can, and because this time it was an "educated quit," and because I "cared for my quit," and because I want to "go home" to myself, I'm on day 9 of being smoke free. And it feels totally awesome to be on this journey again. It reminds me of that saying, "If we are heading in the right direction, all we need to do is keep on walking.".....

If you ever waver or get to where want is prompting you to act on an urge promise yourself - right now - to come here and read your first post before taking action to satisfy a want thought. You are absolutely correct, NEED is no longer part of the equation. And if you don't need to, why on earth would you want to? Congratulations on making a great decision 9 days ago and ever day since. Take it one day at a time by awaking each day and promising yourself - "I am not going to smoke today!"
