Today I took some of that fabulous money I've saved and joined a gym. And after work tonight, I went to the gym and worked out....bicycling & treadmill for about 45 minutes. It felt excellent....no coughing and hacking...just good honest sweat. I used to be in pretty good shape and I've been athletic most of my life. It feels very nice to have the energy and desire to exercise again, instead of just coming home from work and plopping down on the porch to feed my addiction.
I have to admit I've been a little concerned about the potential for weight gain from this quit...but I know that it doesn't necessarily have to happen. Quitting has actually made me care a bit more about my overall health...in the last two weeks I've been eating better, exercising more and drinking less that I did before I quit. And I'm feeling good tonight and more determined than ever to NTAP! image
