My Dear Sweet Smelling Quit-Sis:
Big congrats from this corner of Puget Sound country where I reside, also smoke free (five plus years for me). isnt' it just the highest high to wake up each day and realize you are not grabbing for a cig or hunting down a match or (especially these days) an appropriate place to smoke! Talk about freedom!
Kimberly you have given yourself the finest present ever, your life free of such hardships that smoking brings along with the terrible addiciton.
Don't let your guard down in the years to come. We will always be addicted to nicotine and have to stay tuned each day to the hazards. I use the AA style which is so close to this site, and start each day with a grin and a stretch and say, "Today I'm not going to smoke." At night I pat myself (literally) on the back adn say, "Good Girl". After smiling for 45 years I deserve the pat as you and the rest here do also.
My twin brother makes fun of me and says "Ah you don't need that website, I quit without them...." and I tell him I'm not him and I do need it and the odds of my staying clean are better if I stay connected here, and I want as much out of life as I can get so that makes this site and what we sell here important enough to me to stay humble about it all. I may step lively with head high over what I've accomplished but I also know people being human all too often slip!
So, long story short Kim, congrats on your one year anniversary. I dont' think there is anything sweeter than this anniversary. Strut your stuff girl!
Your's Dionne
