Congratulations Bille (and to Fausto too, if I remember right he's at least Bronze in his quit). So glad you've made it to the Silver marker of 6 months, where for many of us permanent comfort begins to settle in. Here's what it says in the Color Clubs page about Silver -
Gold, Silver and Bronze, the precious metals traditionally given to award victory and excellence were chosen for Freedom with the same intent.
Silver, and each milestone, is a wonderful opportunity to recall in as much detail as possible the daily realities of the bondage now under arrest. S
ituated between Bronze and Gold, Silver is an opportunity to reflect upon our amazing healing, vastly improved breathing and new found endurance. It is a day for reflection and an opportunity to again revitalize our determination to never take another puff as our new found comfort from wanting can become such an accepted and expected part of life that we run the risk of beginning to take our freedom for granted.
Never cured but always able to choose to live free as we were meant to be by holding true to our declaration to Never Take Another Puff.
yqb - JoeJFree always a nicotine addict and gratefully now an EX-smoker for 1 year, 2 months, 16 days, 22 hours, 1 minute and 54 seconds (440 days)
I've now reclaimed 38 Days and 6 Hours to live how I choose!
