Hi Jake,
I just want to reassure you that you can do this and you have my vote of confidence in that. If you wanted to throw away your quit tonight, you wouldn't be here asking for help. For starters, I hope you don't mind, but there's a new post on the board today called The Real Cigarette Induced "Roller Coaster" Ride. Joel wrote it , but it's based on a true story, I know because the story belongs to my husband and I. It isn't a happily ever after story , but it might have been if he had quit smoking many years ago. My triple Gold celebration is on the board also... My Gold X3 Party!!!. It tells more of our story. Please read all of it before you think about smoking tonight. I genuinely care if you succeed in this quit and my husband would want you to succeed as well. You can do this, I promise. I'm going to be looking for you to come back here tomorrow and tell us about your successful night. I just know you will face up to that trigger and win. Never ever forget what a wonderful gift you are giving yourself and never take another puff.
yqs, sue-GoldX3
PS: Just one more note, my son is a musician.. lead guitar player. He quit smoking years ago and he would tell you that it only made his playing better when he quit. There was less distraction. No more cravings calling his name..image
