I used to think the same thing. I used to even envy people that could only smoke when they went out. I didn't realize until I came to this website why that is. If you have ever seen anyone that is a social smoker, it's because they never continued to smoke enough to develop an addiction. I suppose it's kind of like using an illegal drug once every 6 months....it may not be smart...but it doesn't make you an addict. The difference is, you and I are addicts, we can never get enough nicotine. One puff, one chew, one patch, one piece of nico gum, and we are done. One little social smoke and you may as well throw your money away on a carton because that's where your headed. Stop arguing with yourself about this....ntap.
