I now walk 4 to 5 miles a day as well as lift weights twice a week. Enough to work up a good sweat and loosen the knees and ankles.
I'm a big guy at 6'8" and even though I don't appear hefty I do carry some weight on my frame.
It's been nice to push myself a little harder knowing that my lungs are getting more oxygen to my muscles. Recovery time is shorter as well.
My goal is to loose 20 pounds by the start of my basketball season and not have to carry so much weight on my overly abused body.
All of this possible because
not using nicotine
has allowed me to exercise to my fullest capabilities.
Coach D
