Congratulations on two weeks of freedom and healing! This is the link to Joel's
The terrible threes
article where he suggests that we not put too much stock in 3 weeks or 3 years. In fact, the biggest risk during the next couple of weeks may be the fact that the distance between challenges will grow so significant that you tend to start dropping your guard and defenses a bit. When at last we encounter an unextinguished use cue and experience a crave epsiode it can catch us totally unprepared and off guard. The sense of panic that can set in may have you believing that things are getting worse not better. But don't buy into it. Should any challenge feel worse, stop and reflect on how long it had been since your last significant challenge and then smile. It's a wonderful problem to have, not bad! Still just one rule ... no nicotine today!
Breathe deep, hug hard, live long,
