OK Sue, you are on the right path my friend.

It sounds like you have some deep doubt about if your quit was the right thing to do, yet you are here, so you really know it is.

Days 8-11 were my hardest, the fog cleared and my real life started not long after.

They say after 72 hours nicotene leaves you're body and the physical needs diminish. I don't doubt that medically, but my hardest time was day's 8-10. Day 11 I was over the worst, and only left with mild cravings that were easy to dispell. I read 72 hours was supposed to be the worst but we are all different. You WILL hit your peak withdrawal suffering soon, if not in 72 hours or 11 days, or 21 days, you will hit a peak, and its close. Then it is literally downhill from then on.

Once you start sliding down that nicotene free slope, you'll love the ride.

We all are.
