Hi Sue,

I'm sorry that you are having a  difficult time.

I recommend that you read lots of the resource material. You can do a search on the feelings you are experiencing.

There is usually some post which will "talk" to you at the spot you are at in your quit.

Are you timing your craves?
Are they really physical gut wrenching sensations?
Are they thoughts?
Can you take the time and examine them.  What were you doing when it started? What were you thinking when it started? What were you feeling? Who were you with? I think often we used nicotine as an avoidance technique.

Then you can say to yourself, oh that's why I thought about ingesting nicotine.
I don't "need" to take nicotine first thing in the morning anymore and after a few more experiences I probably won't think to take nicotine when ......

We need to remind ourselves of all the minutes each day we are not thinking about having a nicotine fix.
Remember how many days you have not feed your nicotine addiction.

You are doing fantastic.
Believe when your peers here tell you it gets easier.

Keep reading and learning about nicotine addiction, junkie thinking and relapse prevention.

You can do it.
I am proud of you for what you have accomplished so far and I am proud of you for posting.
