Hi to all,
Well well well.....look who made it to double green?  ME!!!  Wow....quite an amazing feeling. I am very proud of myself.  Thanks to this website and everyone who has been so supportive. The anti-depressant I was put on seems to be helping my mood, which is good. Another positive is my sister and I walk together 3 times a week. What a difference a little exercise can make! Great for the lungs, and it just makes me feel happier overall. I tell myself everyday to let go of the things I cannot control. And, I end each journal entry with I LOVE ME. I feel like I am on the right track. Today is day 68. There are still times I think about smoking, but they are fewer and go away faster, which is great. My husband and I decided to "treat" ourselves once a week for not smoking. Last week we went to an italian restaurant for a very good dinner. Tomorrow we are going to a matinee. I think that these little rewards are helpful too. I think you have to do what is right for you, to manage your own quit and take care of your own quit. Sort of like a relationship...my quit needs some TLC every once in awhile. Anyway, just wanted to write and say I am hanging in there!

Sue, DOUBLE GREEN  (yeah!)
