Tks John and Joel, Am now at 7 days... am loving having my appetite back (eating breakfast who would have thought!) and have been coughing a bit and noticing little bits of 'debris' which I assume is all the muck coming out of my system, as my body efficiently cleans it away. Only recently have i read into the stories of people who have not had the time to quit before something happens. Another good reinforcement. I think i am gradually getting more energy, actually there are lots of good things happening. For instance when smoking feeling ostracised ... I used to drive away from work for lunch - just so i could get a nicotine fix. I'm not hiding anything anymore. Reading about Barack Obamas evasiveness to reporters questions when he smoked still in 2007. Yes I remember using words to confuse, to not be entirely truthful. The ugly thing is that you don't necessarily know that your doing it. One just does it to cover up from a really bad addiction. Good to be free.
