I can relate feeling like a person split in two. I was a closet smoker. I also tried to eat healthy and exercise. I always hated that it didn't matter what else I did that was good for myself, I was still smoking....and to me, that cancelled out everything good I was doing for myself.

I have found freedom, just like you. It was difficult at first, facing down every trigger as they came...which was so often in the beginning. But, I knew from this website and forum that the only way I would feel true feedom was to NTAP. And if I did that long enough, I would one day not desire to smoke, or even think about it. I have been here for quite a while now. You will be too. Just take it one day at a time, or minute to minute if you need to.
