Welcome home, Reginald and congratulations on nearly three years of freedom!  Felt awesome as a using addict????  That part worries me as it appears that complacency is creeping rearing its head.   Try hard to recall,  Reginald, if we didn't use soon enough the wanting would grow in intensity as we moved closer to the onset of early withdrawal.

Try hard to recall, it isn't that we liked smoking but that we didn't like what happened when we didn't. What felt awesome was making the wanting end.  But isn't that a bit like saying it feels awesome to stop pounding your hand with a hammer?

Reginald, do you still have your old list of reasons for quitting?  Hope so.  If not, ask a few smokers what it's like to live and plan life from inside a pack.   I think you'll be surprised at their answers.

Anyway, still just one rule to staying here on the free side of the bars while keeping your dependency arrested on the other ... no nicotine today!!

Breathe deep, hug hard, live long,
