thank you Joel, it's most helpful! today was relatively easy indeed. probably because I've been practising 2 things I learned from the videos:

- reminded myself several time during the day about my quit reasons/goals, to be prepared for those thoughts of smoking coming "out of nowhere" and before they get to me. strangely, not much of those today

- replaced the "just 1 cig" thought with the whole pack/deal that comes with it. that changes eveyrthing!

compared to yesterday, I feel very focused and the challenge doesn't seem so unfair (almost enjoyable) now that I have more tools in my camp. thank you again for the great tips! this website is a wonderful place to learn and grow!
