After 10 days, I'm making my way through, one day at a time. The cravings are still coming, though they seem to be easing in intensity and frequency. Not a lot, but a little. I had a frozen pizza a day or two ago, and thought I was going to go nuts afterward when I couldn't have my usual smoke. Probably my two biggest triggers are eating and driving. I've been confronting both, so they're getting somewhat easier.

I like the whole idea of staring a craving down. Sensing it approach, letting it wash over me, and then feeling it dissipate. It seems to help me mentally, to face them instead of trying to avoid them psychologically. They're still really difficult, but improving each day. I have noticed that I'm still getting the "just got up, time for the first smoke of the day" trigger. I'll be glad when those are a distant memory.

This has been an 18-year habit for me, and I'm cherishing my quit. I appreciate the videos you've shared, Joel image
