Hi there Cacles, and a big warm welcome to you. Wow, out of hell week already. Well done. Yes, those triggers will be coming at you thick and fast. Remember, it has only been a week, not long when you consider how long you smoked, so you are not likely to forget them for a while. Because I smoked in almost every situation, triggers were constantly there - when I ate, drank, worked inside/outside, telephone, TV, social times, driving etc etc. It's no wonder we feel like we have lost a friend, they were our constant companions. Have you read the article in Joel's library about cigarettes being our friend? It is in Nicodemon's lies. If you haven't then please do. It will change your mind, trust me. You are doing so well, just hang in there, keep fighting and be proud of each and every hour and day that you stay nicotine free. Trust us here when we tell you the triggers get easier to face, they get fewer and less powerful. See each one as a triumph, not as a defeat and you are a winner! Cheers, Glenys
I have chosen not to smoke for 3 Months 6 Days 16 Hours 11 Minutes 5 Seconds. Cigarettes not smoked: 2441. Money saved: A$610.46.
