Zoo, you raise an interesting point but we don't delete negative or positive historical posts here at Freedom. But then we don't bring our relapse threads to the top of the board either, LOL. Joy arrived at Freedom on June 1, 2000 and just two days later, June 3th, started a serious quit that turned to Gold a year later. In addition she served here at Freedom as a wonderful assistant and rendered vital support to scores of quitters who are still free today, both during and after her term of service. Hardly a defeat!
We've just change the format here a bit so that serious Newbies do their reading and learning on the outside, instead of having a false start here on the inside, in front of each other where it can have a negative impact. I did the same thing. I arrived online on May 13th and learned as I floundered for two days until May 15th when my quit turned serious. Hardly a defeat!
That Gold behind her name should say it all! You couldn't have pulled up a more perfect example of just how quickly a solid education can overcome the power of our addiction. Thanks for brining this up. If Joy sees it she'll get a kick out of it. Stay strong, Zoo, you can do this! YQB Zep : )
