Rena
You have received some great info so far so I will onl add that never, and I mean never, has NOT smoking been so important for you or for me
For if you can conquer this MOST stressful situation, you will be able to conquer any of them..........
You would NOT get that AHHHHHHH feeling anymore anyway..............look for that Ahhhhhhh feeling elsewhere.........deep breathing and if you still can't find it, it wasn't meant to be and you will find it some other time
sooooooooo much of my quit has been in ACCEPTANCE............THAT i CAN'T CHANGE MY CIRCUMSTANCES OR WHAT OTHERS DO TO ME
THE ONLY THING I CAN CHOOSE IS HOW TO REPSOND........I TOLD MYSELF THAT I CAN RESPOND IN ANY WAY EXCEPT SMOKE OR IN A WAY THAT WOULD HARM MYSELF OR OTHERS................
You have an investment here.............do you really want to go back to zero on your quit meter???
MORE IMPORTANT, DO YOU REALLY WANT TO GO THROUGH HELL WEEK AGAIN???
what you are feeling is temporary but smoking may be permanent if you start again......and we all know how smoking can permanently destroy our lives, our futures...
I am in IT too and I know it does not change so radically in just a year to make you obsolete..........as long as you continue to read, you will be fine.........DO AS MUCH AS IS NECESSARY TO KEEP YOUR QUIT, AS YOU WOULD DO TO STAY IN TUNE WITH THE IT WORLD........if you lose your health, you won't be in IT anyway
KEEP YOUR QUIT
FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT AND NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PUFF
