Heidi,
Read Dale's reply again...and again...and again. This quit is YOURS not 'ours', only you can make it or break it. My husband decided to quit two days after me, and we have had our share of arguments since we've quit believe me BUT 1) smoking may have been covering up some feelings we both needed to get to the surface anyway 2) we fought while smoking too 3) no healthy marriage goes without a good disagreement. Having said that, I did notice our last two 'battles' never once involved the topic of smoking/quitting/cigarettes, etc. We've turned some kind of corner.
It absolutely has to be about yourself. By example alone you will show him he can do it too.
Hang in there sweetie, I know you can keep your chin up and NTAP.
