Horray for you Heidi,
This coming clean and recovering process is indeed individual. Help each other for sure but acknowledge that we each need to hold up our end of the bargain and simply NTAP!
So glad for both of you, each in your own way.
Know that this journey we make is not always easy but really not all that hard.
Read, read, and read a bit more to cover everything you'll need in this 'Operators Manual' for successful quit maintenance.
One additional thought after reading your last post.
Sure there will be challenges encountered in the hours, days, weeks and even months to come.
There will also be Unexpected Joys, Bursts of Happiness and Fits of Self-Esteem that will leave you at some time walking down the street striding a bit taller, smilin a bit wider (and with brighter teeth
), with a purposeful step. Knowing that it was you and you alone that did something most folks only wish and want to but never have the drive and knowledge to accomplish. You made it! You've learned for yourself & turned yourself into
