I started out on those, and remember changing to a brand that had a WHITE filter vs. a tan one, because I thought it looked more feminine. I think it was Benson and Hedges...I smoked them for years. To me, the gold packaging and silver packaging looked "tasteful" and expensive.
In 2003, I had been on DORAL for years, they were the least costly with a flavor I liked.
In June 2003, I quit, after many attempts. I am so glad to be free! Yes, it cost me a few pounds, and I'm working those off as I write, but I am grateful that I could quit. That I worked my quits and that I was determined to quit. So many aren't.....
