While this originally addressed getting prepared for Christmas after just surviving Thanksgiving, the same message now applies for getting prepared for New Years after just having survived Christmas. Soon we will be in a New Year with the fears of first major holidays behind us. You will likely look back and think to yourself, "What was I so worried about?" The concept of future holidays no longer traumatize you. But you will still want to keep your guard up, not only on holidays but every day. Keep reminding yourself that it was great that you got through yesterday, but your main focus now is to get through today. Do this everyday and you will stay on track with your quest to never take another puff!
