This is so exciting! This is my first post and I am really thankful for being given membership.
I have lurked on this board once before and my experience of previous quits convinces me that cold turkey with support is the only effective way to go
I'll post later and introduce myself properly, but for now I'm 41and I've smoked 20 a day for most of the last 22 years. I am now into day 9 of
what I know will be my final quit. That is why I have applied for membership now. This time it's for real!
A far bit has been going on in my personal life that means that I feel I am starting a new life, but I am also acutely aware that the window of opportunity
for quiting is starting to close. I hope I haven't left it too late.
Any way, so far so good. I hope I not too complacent, but I've had very few problems. Time will tell if it continues...
In recovery for 9 days meaning that I haven't smoked 178 cigarettes and saved £45.39.
