Hello Andrea. I see you decided to again live free of nicotine on the day 10th august 08 -3.30pm. Congratulations on living life on your terms, no nicoitne's for a month and 8 days so far.
Only you can answer the questions of when & why. When will you quit quitting and start living free? It's when YOU decide what you want to be - a practicing addict dying a bit more each day with each puff of poison or a person free to live as we wer always intended to be without the need or want of nicotine.
Here are some articles to reference in addition to the ones that have been pushed up to the top of the board in reply to your post.
I don't know if I have another quit in me.

Andrea - You can do this, matter of fact you already have. There is a beautiful life ahead of you if you say 'no more nicotine' for the rest of today. The same problems and issues that drove you to get through withdrawal and work your way through the temporary and transitional adjustment period of 'quitting' still exist if you go back into the jail cell of ingesting dose after dose of nicotine to stave off cosntant withdrazwal anxiety for another 20 to 30 minutes - every hour of every day of every year until you assure you will die earlier than necessary. Now THAT is a bad day. Why don't you stay.....just a little bit longer and decide that for the rest of today you are stay resolved to honoring YOUR commitment to YOU and say - "I'm Not Going to Smoke Today!"

Hi Andrea, It is great to be nicotine free! You sound like you are as proud to be smoke free as I am!!! When those cravings/urges/nasty thoughts come up, think NTAP, NTAP, NTAP. It almost gets to be like a chant and helps to get through those 3 minutes. I haven't been on this road for long yet, but I am thrilled that I have made it this far and I am planning on being around for a good looooonnnngggg time (lol). Take care and have a lovely smoke free week-end! Nora - Free and Healing for Twelve Days, 20 Hours and 45 Minutes, while extending my life expectancy 2 Days.

I have quit now for 2m 3w and I have found it is getting easier however I struggle on Friday nights, this is because this is my chill out night after working hard all week. I know it is stupid but it bothers me, I have not given in and I won't but I wish this feeling would go away.
