GREEN AND PROUD OF IT!
Yes! This day has finally come. Not since I was 17 years old, have I ever thought I was going to be able to successfully quit nicotine. Yes, I had several short periods in the last 32 years that were nicotine free. But, those periods were built on willpower. And, sooner or later, my willpower wouldl fail. Trying to continually "fight" my smoking past eventually wore me down. This site has taught me that education is much more powerful than willpower. And, education provides me a much stronger foundational support to a permanent quit than willpower ever will. Don't get me wrong, I do believe willpower is important. Every quitter must have a measure of it in order to get a quit going. And,Willpower will provide momentum in a quit. But, armed with the superior knowledge of addiction and the consequences of one puff, I believe that have successfully "kicked to the curb" hundreds, maybe thousands, of cravings over the last crazy month. And that in a nutshell is why I will never take another puff and feel absolutely great about it!
A great big thanks to everyone who supports this site. You make an awesome team which became invaluable to me through out this first wonderful month.
Can't wait for DOUBLE!
