1 month 1 day into my quit, I have just finished lunch and I get a trigger, I deal with this as I do all my triggers/craves by slowly breathing in through my
nose holding the breath for a couple of seconds and then slowly breathing out through my mouth then finishing my trigger/crave with a smile, I always finish
them with a smile because i have no control over when then will arrive but I know that when one has gone it is one less I will have to face.
I do not know whether i will face 10, 10,000 or 10,000,000 so i do not worry about them.(I just smile afterwards)
So 1 month 1day into my quit, I have just finished lunch and i get a trigger, and then it hits me I used to get triggers after every meal and now i am
sitting here trying to remember how many meals it as been since my last trigger and can honestly say that i cannot recall whether it is 3 meals or 30 meals.
Now I have read all of the oldbies posts and when they told us it does get BETTER it was sometimes hard to see how, 1 month 1day into my quit I could see it
getting BETTER.
Now there is a reason i send this post, I am a newbie (not an oldbie) so for every non green out there whether 1 day, 1 week or 1 fortnight into your quit it
does get BETTER. Give it a little time and see for yourself
