One of the highlight posts that has always made a lot of sense to me was Are "aaahh" memories calling your name? Well, they did call my name a lot of times early in the quit, so rather than give in to them I decided to look for natural "aaahhhs" throughout my day. As time has progressed, I have noticed more of them.
Just what is a "natural" aaahhh? To me, it is anything that just feels good physically or emotionally that you do on a fairly regular basis. It could be eating a particular meal, head hitting a particular pillow at night, seeing someone's face, in short, anything that just makes you "feels good"!
One of the earliest ones I noticed was the feeling after a good breakfast and coffee--having a warm and satisfied belly with lots of energy for the day. This is a big change from the days not so long ago when my breakfast consisted of inhaling 4 or 5 nicotine sticks and downing some coffee.
So oldbies, newbies, what are some of your new and natural "aaahhhs" now that you are free from nicotine?
