I won't write a book here but honestly, I never thought I could do this. Two years! I've got to say, life is great! I have basically forgotten what it was like to be a smoker. Someone asked me what brand I used to smoke and it took me the longest time remembering and I had smoked for 25 yrs. I have to report that my comfort level is right at 99.9%. The .01% of discomfort I may feel once in a great while is easily relieved by remembering some of the things I learned here.
Friends ask me to do strenuous activities with them and I don't even think twice - literally. Used to be I would measure the potential fun with how obvious my gasping for breath would be. Now I don't have any of that and I feel very blessed indeed to feel 100% healthy, just as God intended.
My simple thought to leave behind to any lurkers out there is that yes, dreams do come true and if it's your dream is to some day post about turning green or silver or gold , you can do it! Just follow the gameplan on this site and learn all you can about this addiction. Education is the key and it so easily trumps willpower alone. The only reason I succeeded was because of this board and the education I received regarding my addiction.
Thank you to everyone here behind the scenes keeping this site running and to all the folks out there who helped me those first couple of rough months.
John Gold x2 baby!!!
